Installation:

The installation is no different than installing any other module with the exception of the attaching the display module to the ram module. I installed these ram modules without the displays attached for the sake of the review, but they can be installed with or without the displays attached.

Thanks to the dual connectors on the display modules we can attach our displays so that we have good clearance from our CPU cooler. We are running a dual channel config., so I will put a module in banks one and three.

Here are a couple of angle shots to show you both sides of the ram without the displays. Do these work with out the displays you ask? Absolutely! Again, the ram modules work with the displays on or off and can be installed while the system is running. No harm will come to this unit by taking the displays on or off while the system is powered!

Channel "A" socket one was just out-fitted with the first display module. Installation was easy and fit perfectly. As you can see we chose to install the display module with the display to the right side of the CPU cooler and on the right side of the memory. While it could of gone on the left side of the memory module there wasnt room so we give thanks to Corsair's dual connectors. These fit our system even with the huge CPU cooler we are using.

Now this looks sweet, after installing both display modules both ram modules, I took a step back to snag these shots! These pictures do no justice for the way this ram looks in our test rig. Awesome! This ram is simply remarkable and such an attention getter. My colleagues can’t seem to leave me alone long enough to get a review done for this ram. I had to lock the door and put a do not disturb sign in place to get some work done. Hehe.
