AMDZone has published a review on the Leadtek WinFast PX6600 GT TDH graphics card and this in a SLI configuration. The Leadtek WinFast PX6600 GT TDH is based of the same reference card model as the other 6600 GT's. Leadtek has decided to use an open fan aluminum HSF with a standard green PCB. This 6600 GT has a 515MHz GPU, memory at 1.0GHz, 8 pixel pipelines and roughly 173 million transistors. You can easily add additional heat sinks to the memory for better cooling. This card retails for around $200.
Leadtek WinFast PX6600 GT TDH SLI Review
When looking at the benchmarks you will notice that all of the cards score very similar. This is because all the 6600 GT's I have, and well all that are being made are based on the same reference model. Some manufacturer's try and make their card more appealing by doing things like bumping the default core clock a few MHz, or putting better memory chips on the card. All of this really
doesn't do much for performance. So if all of the cards perform the same how do you choose which 6600 GT? Well look at the bundle. The Leadtek comes with 2 full version games which makes for a pretty descent bundle. |
