While NVIDIA, ATI and manufacturers like EVGA offered
proprietary software control of their graphics products over the years, manufacturer
endorsed voltage adjustments have been missing for GPUs. In the past, third party
programs like ATI Tool fulfilled this role for supported ATI cards, while NVIDIA
users have been left to hard mod their...

It has been around four years since Cooler Master first introduced their gigantic Stacker case. This was by no means the first full-tower case on the market, since companies like Chieftec (and plenty of others) have been selling them for ages, but it did spark the beginning of enthusiast hype for such cases. I lived in Taiwan at the time and provided a review...

We just reviewed the CyberPower Gamer Xtreme XI system with a
4.0GHz QX9770 and SLI GTX 280s that comes in an NZXT Khaos case. We thought it
would be good to provide a separate look at the case since it has some cool
features and looks quite nice. The Khaos case has been available for several
weeks now. It is a full-tower offering a lot of space, with five...

If you fall into that category, Spotswood has some case options that are likely to start your heart thumping....

The Next Xbox According to the yarns Microsoft has been spinning on the web, a team of monkeys has already been assembled to plan out the next Xbox console. If there’s one thing I love more than tinkering with my PC, it’s the console wars. Sadly, I believe that Microsoft’s next endeavor will be void of competitive marketing when it comes to...

Imagine a full library of classic PC games at your fingertips. Now imagine the ability to download these games for five or ten bucks. That’s what’s going on at Good Old Games, a new site whose focus is to bring those often hard to find classic PC titles to the masses. I know what you’re thinking. You use Vista so a lot of these simply would not...

Hey all! In an attempt to start a more regular series of blog posts, I thought I’d share my thoughts on the games I’m currently playing. Since I can’t do full review articles on everything I play, I’ll do my best to keep you updated with some bits of info on games that won’t make the front page news, but are equally worth talking...

We've seen some surprises from Enermax in the past. They have always been good at manufacturing, but when it comes to new products or new things in the industry the reps at Enermax tend to be quiet. For example, the head of global marketing is Joerg Theissen, whom I have known for years now -- and not just because we are both born in Hamburg, Germany. Joerg has...
Intel had a number of Nehalem systems up and running at IDF. Clock speeds are unknown but there are tons of threads being spawned.
The desktop platforms feature X58 motherboards with 6 DDR3 DIMM slots for Nehalem's 3 channels. Also on display was a Nehalem server with 144GB of DDR3 memory thanks to MetaRAM's 8GB DDR3 memory modules. {gallery 178}
