I think I will spend some time this weekend trying to find character model packs for Morrowind, there are plenty of fans doing really good work making add-ons and such for Morrowind as it comes with its own construction kit... And the only real flaw, although not at all a major one, is the lack of detail in the character models... And I know I have seen stuff people have made that's really beautiful work. In theory you could just replace the old models with newer more detailed ones and I'm sure it's been done by now...
