Leadtek 6800 - 2005/01/30 02:27
I have a Leadtek 6800 (A400) and it runs great. However, I leave my computer on 24 hours a day for months at a time, but with upgrading to the 6800, I can't sleep as it is too loud. I realize the fan is probably needed when the GPU is stressed (while I'm playing Doom 3), but is it possible to lower the fan speed or turn it off completely when it is not needed? This is a serious problem, I'm considering selling the video card and buying something else if I can't get it to run quieter when idle.
