Excellent stuff mate, and indeed if you are having troubles with dust you should realy clean up the full system and parts. Once done you need to rebuild the system from scratch and do it piece by piece to see all is working fine and you can find the part giving you all the troubles. Generally I clean my system regularly from dust as that is the main reason why your system will loose performance and heat up.
