Well the best way is to have a power supply that has the ability to have at least one 8-pin power connection for the graphics card. But if you don't have that than several brands are supplying with the graphics card a dual 6-pin to 8-pin converter to resolve this and that should just work fine. Though really if you can buy a GeForce GTX 280, then you also can buy a better power supply that has even the capability of two 6+2-pin power connections which is the best option.
