Well all cards are different and the save overclock will also be different and that is just as we always say. So really the best way is to find first by using ATITool or any other overclocking tool the maximum core and memory clock speed to know what would be save. And yes normally a default GeForce GTX 280 should be able to run the factory overclock from the same brand, though there is no guarantee, but most of the time you can just got for that.
