GeForce 7600 GT, having major problem gives blank screen? - 2008/06/04 16:59
Hi all, right then I recently got a GeForce 7600 GT graphics card off a mate and I used it for a couple of weeks and all was well. Then all of a sudden while in game the screen went black. So I had to hard re-start my computer. On the restart the dreaded black screen appeared, the monitor light was only on amber and nothing was on the screen. I could hear the computer loading up.
So I put my old graphics card back in and everything worked again, so its obviously down to this new graphics card. The only difference I can think of is that I had to used a DVI to VGA adapter for the GeForce 7600 GT, but I doubt that would make any difference. Can you offer any help? Thanks.
