Overclocking my CPU, and changing system memory voltage? - 2008/06/02 02:42
Hey, I want to upgrade my 2GB's of DDR2 533MHz of unbranded memory to the OCZ Platinum 800MHz. I've read about voltage changes, mine runs at 1.9V but the OCZ needs 2.1V but my BIOS is locked in that area as with all other areas. Is there any other way to change it? If not I'm so pissed at my BIOS because you can't do anything with it I can't overclock my CPU which is an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 running at 2.4GHz which I wanna put up to 3.0GHz. How do you go about changing the BIOS of your PC? I want one which allows overclocking and changing of voltages!
Mainboard Specifications... - Manufacturer : Packard Bell - Model : PT890-8237A - BIOS Vendor : Phoenix Technologies - BIOS Version : PBSFC2MB.P07 - BIOS Release Date : 08/13/2007
