I am a gamer and for me 680MHz core and 1960MHz memory is very stable in any application plus 1.05V on my card just run a lot cooler than 1.10V. I don't want to break my card in 3 or 6 months. Well said mate, and indeed 680MHz for a mobile graphics card is not really bad and even quite okay and it is better to no overheat it as it is more expensive to replace it when it goes bad. So yes, keeping a save margin is a very good idea in the long run.
