Okay that is the typical issue between VIA chipsets and the G92 based GeForce 8800 series graphics cards and the only fix is with some newer BIOS for the graphics card as VIA who is the bad guy has no means to fix it, so NVIDIA came up with some way to do it, though has only released an update for the reference design version of the GeForce 8800 GT which only supports 512MB memory. For the other versions it is really up to manufacturer to rework that BIOS and come up with a version that works. Normally a BIOS version of 62.92.24.x or newer is good to flash with.
