Re:Flashing a GeForce 8800M GTX, laptop running SLI configs? - 2008/05/16 04:55
It worked, anyway, when I was testing the different overclocking, with the 1.15V the first crash made a kind of strange damage on the game World in Conflict. The whole game is not well displayed, as the GPU was damage or something. When I saw that, my blood was frozen, thinking I destroyed my cards. But there are no problems in Crysis, and no problem in benchmarks. I am actually reinstalling the game to see if the crash just corrupted the game. I am now using the 1.05V setting, seems to stable at 660/2060MHz, I was stable at 650/2040MHz with normal BIOS.
Wow thank you god! I was using the very last version of ForceWware 175.70 and that was the reason of the bad display on World in Conflict. So, I am using the 1.10V BIOS. I would like to know if overclocking the cards directly in the BIOS is more efficient than overclocking via nTune. In this case, how can I change the frequency directly in the BIOS? Thanks a lot. I will come back with more feedback about my overclocking performance.
