Hi, I know this might be asking a lot, but could you guys compile a post with step by step instructions on how to complete this operation? I got this crap card because an NVIDIA card I had from ASUS went boom and they couldn't repair or replace it. Games have been running like utter crap lately because of the outdated driver. I've downloaded the BIOS that was successful and both ATIWinFlash and ATIFlash, but I haven't tried to use either yet because I am nervous.
I'm nearly professional level with PC hardware and software, but this level of troubleshooting is further that I have gone before. I do not have a floppy drive on this system, is there any way to use the DOS util without a floppy drive in case the ATIWinFlash version doesn't work? Like a bootable CD or USB drive? Thanks for getting such a great thread going for us unlucky folks that happened to get this card and can't afford or find another one.
