Mmm, and I have to state that I have no issues with my Gainward GeForce 9800 GX2 and an ASUS mainboard so I don't think you can just link it to that. What I would think it could be is the actual chipset that is used on the mainboard as that could maybe have issues with the GX2. So can you check that? And no need to run 3DMark with multi-GPU disabled as that will give much lower scores and be performing like a single GeForce 8800 GTS, though lower clocked.
