Well strange thing you have got there, and I doubt that Gateway would have done something to these cards to disable the SLI function. Now some questions, do each of these cards work when they are put in the PC as a single card? Just to be save that the cards work fine as such individually in Windows Vista. With nvFlash, when you use these from a bootable DOS media when you have two cards you need to also use the index parameters if you want to flash the cards.
nvFlash v5.xx Commands...
"nvflash -i0 -4 -5 -6 newbios.rom" (Forced BIOS Flash Card #1)
