I don't understand it, have you got now PC2-8500 memory or just plain and simple PC2-6400? Cause really you need to look what is written on the memory stick to be sure what it is. So can you do that and not play with any software, cause if the memory is PC2-8500 then you don't need new memory, and you will just to set the correct option in the mainboard BIOS to operate at 1066MHz...
