Well as mentioned if a BIOS works fine, I would stick with it... And no normally you don't need to re-install drivers, but well it somehow adviced to reduce any issues. But I think in your case the best BIOS is the Rev.02 and I would stick with that one if the other one gives display errors, as that is not caused by the drivers.
