GeForce 8 series and using three displays being feasible? - 2008/02/14 12:18
Hi, a mate of mine wants to run three displays for film cutting
and does not want to spend a lot of money but he still wants to play on the rig in his spare time. I looked around a bit and saw a GeForce 8600 GT 512MB for about €70 which would result in two for €140, for SLI operation.
Are there any other possibilites? Is it possible to get a GeForce 8800 GT and a less powerful card GeForce 8500 GT to use for 3-display mode and they work together on one display, not sure if the GeForce 8500 has SLI if not then a GeForce 8600 instead. Is that possible? Thanks in advance...
