Well I think you might had the rumors wrong, NVIDIA never mentioned it it come so soon as you somehow expected, that was just the rumors about that it would come, some new GX2 version but doing it that with a G80 would just kill the idea due to too much heat and power requirements. So they had to wait for the G92 and of course the moment is just right to release it in the upcoming month. And I am waiting for the GeForce 9800 GX2 as well, as it should be very interesting this second GX2 attempt.
