Well, I must say I have come across such an issue some time ago on a laptop and I can tell you that it was not the graphics card at all but a problem with the operating system that was fixed by either re-installing the operating system and on another by applying pending patches and fully removing Windows Media Player and getting the latest version... So as Dell mentioned, I doubt as well that it would be the video card.
