ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT, and will not play videos on Vista? - 2008/01/14 13:36
Hi, I am having a problems with my graphics card, an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT. When I plug it in to my monitor via the DVI cable it will play games like Call of Duty 4 fine but will not play any videos or mp3's in Real Player, Windows Media Player or any media player at all. However when I disable the graphics card by plugging my monitor in via the VGA rather than DVI socket everything works fine. I spoke to Dell and they said I needed to re-install Vista but I think it is a problem with the graphics card rather than Vista. Can anyone please help Thanks...
