Radeon X1650 XT, and how to get BIOS with higher voltage? - 2007/12/27 02:55 Hi everyone, I've lately been trying to adjust the voltage values of a Radeon X1650 XT from ASUS, with no luck. Looks like RaBiT's settings are not working as they should, unless the card has something to prevent voltage changes just like GeForce 8800 series. Setting either a lower or higher voltage makes absolutely no difference in GPU temperature or overclock margins. Not having ever heard about anything like that on any ATI solution, even the last Radeon HD 38xx ones, I think the way RV560 handles voltage changes must be different from the RV530's.

Maybe something RaBiT's coder might haven't notified because of the lack of XT BIOS's around, something like different 3D and/or 2D voltage values or different performance modes just like in the Radeon HD 2400 and/or 2600 series. I'll attach my original ASUS BIOS, which gives me a CRC error when opening it, not that it's much of importance as long as it works and a Sapphire BIOS I've found around. Thanks in advance...
