Radeon 9550 SE, but can't play any DirectX 9.0c games?! - 2007/12/05 01:48
Hi, I'm new here. I'm planning on upgrading my 2+ year old home computer pretty soon because I can't play the games they make of late. I have an AMD Sempron 2600+ Tbred with 512MB RAM and a GeCube Radeon 9550 SE 128MB card. I know my video card is only DirectX 9.0b hardware compliant, but is there any way to successfully install DirectX 9.0c on the card? I can't play BioShock, F.E.A.R., NBA Live 2006, Half-Life 2: Loast Coast, Chronicles of Riddick and all the other titles which require DirectX 9.0c because everytime I try to install DirectX 9.0c it just won't. Thanks...
