The last ATI card with Windows 98 support was the Radeon X850 XT with the Catalyst 6.2 drivers. The Radeon X850 XT did a little better than the GeForce 7600 GT in the charts. However the GeForce 7600 is not Windows 98 compatible. I also wanted to build a Windows 98 machine. I also would suggest staying away from nForce 4 chipset on the motherboard, as there is no Widnows 98 support either. Hope that helps.
