Because there are two completely different revisions of Sapphire Radeon X1950 PRO's, the older one is reference, the newer one is based on the GT PCB. The GT doesn't have adjustable voltage regulators, and the BIOS's aren't interchangeable. I heard that if you flash the older BIOS to a newer card, you just get an insert the power cord error and it doesn't boot.
