Okay, well first of all your post has been moved to the thread about the latest NiBiTor, which means you shouldn't have started a new one. Now I would like to know what you tried? Cause you are talking about the 2D mode and well just to once again mention it, there is a reason why NVIDIA only has one performance level on the GeForce 8800 series BIOS's, which is just the 3D mode.
Now to check it further, can you provide which card that you have, brand? Then you need to supply your original BIOS fo your card and as well the modified one that you flashed to your card. That way we can check what you tried and provide some input on it...
