Hi guys, I too have an Athlon 4200+ (Windsor) but AM2 socket, and I can get it to boot at 3GHz but not stable, the highest I can get it stable is at 2.95GHz (1.56V boards max) where the temps start touching 70°C and then I clock it down. Which PSU's are you guys having? I have an OCZ ModStream 520W, and it does the job pretty well. Also I can get it stable at 2.6GHz without any voltage increase.
Which mainboard are you guys using and what settings for the ram are you guys on. I think the Athlon 4200+ goes pretty well on overclocking. Post some info, and I would try and help.
