Re:Radeon X800 XT performance problems!? - 2006/07/18 05:04
the 2600 xp do 2 gighz 2800 do 2.16 gighz ... firstly set his multi on the 2600 to 12.5 and fsb to 166 at 1.65 volts that will increase tremndously . ( how do i know they do this bc i owned both them chips ) .. now for 2.2 gighz ( he will need a better then stock hsf ) he needs 200 fsb x11 ( 2600 have thier multi unlocked normally ) and volts set at 1.725 or 1.75 . these cpus will do 2.4-2.5 easily with good cooling ( water cooling ) . so recap ... 2600 12.5x166 = 2075 ( 2.08 ) 2800 13x166 2158 ( 2.16 ) @ 1.65 volts ....
