depends on what type of flow you goin for , 3/8 od 5/16 id is for low flow setups like kingwin , koolance , thermaltake , 1/2 od 3/8 id is for high flow set ups DD , Swifttech , coolermaster ( even tho they use a low flow hose thier blocks are more geared up for high flow ) , Polarflow , theres a couple more .. for a suggestion on a block get a Koolance Cpu block , Pump get a Hydor 180 gph pump ( this will use an external power NOT thru your PSU ) and either a DD or Swifty Rads ( use 3/8 barbs ) use the 3/8's hose or go buy 3/8 Od hose .. that should match your water cooling up . when you hook up the water cooling go , : Res > Pump > Vid Block > Cpu Block > Rad > Res .....
