Pny 68gs Nvsilencer Rev2 compatible - 2006/05/17 09:41
Well i decided to give it a shot. I bought My PNY 6800GS AGP A nvsilencer rev 2 for better cooling. though there was 1 problem and that was where the fan plug on the video card was adn fan was connected it was too high so i had to cut a Sand down some of the plastic of the nvsilencer where it was. Other then that small issue it works flawless.
With the card running 1.4 volts and 436core and 1200mhz memory here where the reults-
stock cooler- idle-48c Load-68c
Nvsilencer rev2- idle 45c load-60c
for me it was a huge difference as my card would start artifacting around 65c. So thoght id let every1 know the NVsilencer rev 2 is compatible with PNY 68gs AGP after a little sanding.
