MVKTech V8 Review - 2005/06/15 04:55
Hey,
Just curious I didn't see anywhere in the review what version Reactor drivers you guys used during testing? Was it the 1.08 WHQL or 1.09.52 that came out couple days ago?
I have my V8 pulled out for now. I have lots of bench numbers recorded, and displayed over at Volari Gamers or I attached them in a zip file in this post.
Also, you say the default clock rates were 300/300MHz? So in theory the ram rated at 250MHz. Was O/C? What was the best O/C you achieved?
Also what was your thoughts on cooling? When I removed my cooler it did not make contact to the core, relying totally on thermal paste. I had since removed the shim and installed Iceberq 4 Pro cooler modified.
What's up with the molex power connector? Is that totally new and is it only on 256MB models? I don't recall them before maybe only on Ultra models which are now scarce. Also where did you purchase the card Newegg?
