Installing Radeon 9600XT - 2005/05/21 07:25
I got a second hand Radeon 9600XT and am having trouble installing it into my computer. I uninstalled my previous video card, powered down and installed the new one. My monitor takes longer than normal to turn on and doesn't turn on until Windows begins to load, when this happens the image is there, but is very smudgy, then when it starts to load the desk top it pretty much dissapears.
My mainboard is a Gigabyte GA-7VT600. Any ideas on what to do? My previous card is a GeForce FX5200 and works fine when I put it back in.
