A temp bug or what??? - 2005/03/04 11:33
I just bought yesterday my new Inno3D GeForce 6800. So I tried to install different ForceWare drivers, one after the other... And I noticed that the temperature varied depending what drivers I installed... I installed first 66.93 WHQL and tweak and temp reads out 49°C idle but when I installed the new beta or tweaked 71.84 it increased to 60°C...
Too bad for the 71.84 its the fastest driver I ever used, got me a 10770 3DMark03 and 4420 on 3DMark05. I hope NVIDIA fix this coz its not healthy for the video card with a hight temp. I even unclocked extra pipes and vertex without any artifacts.    
I also tried to used other 71.xx series driver they have the same temp problem...
