Re:Flashing Bios without a floppy drive? - 2005/03/01 16:11 Depends, most flash programs need the use of a temp swap file on a FAT/16/32 partition. CD's do not generally offer a writable file system, so you can rule that out. What's the big deal with people buying a $8.00 floppy and getting a 1.44 and flashing properly?

Re:Flashing Bios without a floppy drive? - 2005/03/09 15:53 Hello,

This is what i do:

Make a fat32 partition on you hdd.
Put your roms on it
Boot from win 98 cd...
And go go gooooo

If you don't want to edit partitions, you can always make an iso of a win98 boot disk, and edit this iso with winiso or something like that, but it's a waste of discs, for every new rom...

Kepp on flashing baby!!!!
