Re:Leadtek 6800LE flashing - 2005/02/02 02:24 It's really not nessecary to boot from a floppy or cd... Push F8 when booting, you should get a menu asking how you want to start Windows. Depending on which Windows version you have, you can choose command console or something like that. Save all the files need to flash within in a directory on the c: for example c:flash.

Move to the flash direcetory and you will have everything from there. This method is not a good ideal if you have a bad flash, but it would work. I have done this before.

Just a little tip. But only for people that knows Windows and DOS.

Hope this helps. I have made the backup with the latest nvFlash (v5.13). I did what you said earlier disabled the softmod, and started to overclock... Now I'm able to run the core at 330MHz and ram at 730MHz. I know it is not too much but it still working when I reinstalled the softmod.

So basically my card now runs at 330/730MHz with 16*1,6vp...
I get around 9700 in 3DMark03 with an Athlon64 @ 2.26 MHZ with 512MB. Drivers 66.93...

Re:Leadtek 6800LE flashing - 2005/02/02 06:15 I have now a problem, After flashing my Leadtek 6800 le with the Asus 6800 GT bios, my fan runs at supersonic speed. I have downloaded Expertools and have set 2d to 50% and 3d at 100%.

This doesnt help much because even when I watch a DVD, the turbo engine starts up and my 6800 is ready for take off. Im waiting for a pretty young lady to come and ask me if I want coffee, tea or a cocktail. Is there anyway to fix this? It is really loud.
