Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2005/01/12 18:09 What you can try it to use the NVIDIA 6800GT BIOS and flash your card with it. Cause the Apollo had a standard NVIDIA 6800 BIOS... And if you flash it with the standard NVIDIA 6800GT BIOS, then the extra pipelines and vertex shaders should be unlocked as well.

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2005/01/12 18:25 Thanks Mavke... What does one do... If the flashing is not sucessful? Can I revert to my original BIOS after a screw up?

I am downloading the Apollo 6800 GT BIOS ...Wish me luck...

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2005/01/12 18:45 I don't have an Apollo 6800GT/Ultra BIOS yet. It seems not much users have such a card. But if you know some or maybe a place where I can get in contact with some Apollo 6800GT/Ultra owners let me know.

But since the Apollo 6800 is the NVIDIA 6800 BIOS (standard), you could use the NVIDIA 6800GT BIOS. First try however to overclock your card to 350/1000MHz...

Try the BIOS's from this section...
NVIDIA BIOS Files
First try Rev.01 and go then up till the latest, and keep the one that seems the most stable... The 256MB is not an issue. As the NVIDIA BIOS don't have the size set in the BIOS (I just mention it because that was the feedback from the user who porvided the BIOS). The only thing that could be is that the timings of the GT memory are not good for your Non Ultra...

========edit========

sorry for the double post...

Ayway, BIOS was extracted by nvflash 5.12 and is running at a core voltage of 1.1v.

I'm in the process of working the voltage up to 1.2volts and eventualy 1.4 volts if I'm feeling lucky. Current overclock is a measy 330/750 which is why I think I need the voltage bump badly.. but I'm getting off topic here.

BFN...

Well normally you can always go back yes... But sometimes you need to do a blind flash...

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2005/01/19 11:05 Another file on the way....

XFX GeForce 6800 GT 256MB AGP (Rev.02 by the POST...)

I doubt it's a new file for the archive, but it seemed a good way to introduce myself to the community. Hopefully it helps in some small way.
