Re:Radeon 9800SE to 9800PRO... - 2004/12/30 05:30 Hey there,

Normally it should be possible. Are you sure the Radeon 9800SE is 256bit? If so then you need to check as well if you can overclock the card... Try to overclock using ATITool...
ATITool v0.22

And get us you max overclock speeds on the GPU and Memory. Then it would also be good if you could backup your BIOS so that I can check it against a 9800PRO or 9800XT BIOS.

You can attach the BIOS on the forum or mail it to me (mavke@mvktech.net).

Re:Radeon 9800SE to 9800PRO... - 2005/01/24 02:37 Clearly a 9800 Pro PCB... So the only problem could be to open the locked 4 pipes...and as I could read it was a problem. Well I think the pipelines are damaged...

Re:Radeon 9800SE to 9800PRO... - 2005/01/24 02:58 This is a screenshot fron NFS6 and it doesn't look good. So there is no way to change to 9800 Pro with a BIOS flash? Will solve this? Please tell me what BIOS should I try to flash.

Re:Radeon 9800SE to 9800PRO... - 2005/01/24 18:55 Well if you get such a screen one of the locked pipes are damaged... And another BIOS won't make it work again.
