I believe you can enable the GPU in the control panel for specific programs, but it cannot run Aero in Windows 7 because of Optimus if you have the non 3D model. To overclock, just use Inspector and set your favorite profile to boot at startup. Then run your games and benchmarks, your frame rates should be much higher!

Re:GT555m xps l702x - 2011/12/23 01:48 That's why I recommend Inspector over Precision. Precision caps your memory overclock too low. Inspector allows you to clock to whatever frequencies you want and make an infinite number of presets you can set without admin access at the push of a button without loading the program itself. I have run my GeForce GT 550M at 820MHz core while the memory was set at 2270MHz and gotten a score of 2001 points in Kombustor. Only Inspector allowed me to select these clock speeds in one program. Oh, are you asking for a higher voltage in order to reach more stable memory overclocks?

Re:GT555m xps l702x - 2012/03/21 03:23 An interesting question. I've also noticed the throttling mode of the GF116 destabilizes the chip when it attempts to clock at frequencies above 800MHz due to lower voltage. It would be interesting if there was a way to fix this voltage.
