Re:GeForce 8800 GTX but my 3D display adapter not recognized? - 2011/09/21 15:38 Lovely, I guess in some situations the oven is doing some nice magical stuff to revive a graphics card and I have actually read some articles on it which is about the degration of electronic lines on the PCB which can re-attached somehow through heating those at high temps like within an oven.

Re:GeForce 8800 GTX but my 3D display adapter not recognized? - 2012/03/03 05:52 A little update to this geforce 8800gtx well the card is dead . Artifacting like crazy so I got a 9800 gtx . Some day I'll try to revive the 8800 with the oven trick again but at the moment the 9800 is doing a fine job !

And even though you can retry the trick, you must know that it will fail again and much sooner than after the first time. Enjoy your GeForce 9800 GTX and I wouldn't invest much energy and time in the other one.
