Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2011/12/11 20:33 The ChipIn is to make a donation for the further development of NiBiTor as we actually saw that a lot of users wanted more and more but actually a donation they didn't care about and we simply released new versions and people kept asking and quite often expecting the impossible. So we made the donation a bit more tangible by giving an extra bonus to all who donate. They get the newest version before it becomes public.

I started using NiBiTor on my GeForce GTX 460 and have since flashed my GeForce GTX 560 Ti and GeForce GTX 550 Ti graphics cards. Without NiBiTor I would still be using an AMD card. So a big thank you for this application.

Sorry, but if you only care about donating because you will simply want to get something than don't bother. Really the donation is about keeping the development going and if all would just donate because they will get a version that they need, than we would simply stop making any new versions. If you like our software and you want us to keep making new versions, than donate with no questions asked and we will try to support any new card as soon as possible. And currently indeed that isn't as quickly as we would like, though that is somehow because the donations don't fly.

A simple page with whats in the new version, whats being worked on for further future releases and a suggested donation amount to ensure that nibitor is being supported in the future would have answered all my questions. Im sure it would also encourage a lot more people to donate as well, as they would feel a part of nibitor by knowing whats being worked on.

The donations aren't flying in because your telling people to not bother donating lol

Hope you take on my suggestions and continue the good work on nibitor.

Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2011/12/12 14:48 You need to understand that the donations are for further development and we actually simply would have liked donations coming in naturally and if so we would be releasing perhaps a new version each month, each time taking into account feedback from users. But we have done that for several years and did that as such an donations was close to almost nothing. Now we just don't make a new version public as soon as finished but as an extra show of our appreciation for donations.

In the next version which is exclusive we added support for new cards and as of that moment we start already on the next version. Meaning we have a public version, an exclusive and an ongoing one in development. If donations would come natural we would no longer use the exclusive but have versions following each other faster and very close following market graphics card releases.
