Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2009/05/17 04:25So I would love to be able to donate to you guys to help you out a little but where the hell is this ChipIn module that you keep referring to? I'm sorry If I'm stupid, but I've searched all over this site and I can't find any link, button, picture... Anyways I will post this up to see if anyone can help out. Maybe it wouldn't be too hard to post a big donate button at the top?

Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2009/05/17 12:33Euh mate, if you have disabled all your adblockers which many use and you would just look at the top right you would see somehing that refers to NiBiTor v5.1 update and has a ChipIn button. And you can actually see how many has been already raised. Just use the ChipIn button which will handle the donation, and frankly others seem to be able to find it easily. You know in the past we had a simple donate button and almost nobody used it, that is why we changed and use now that ChipIn way which shows why we raise and how much has been raised. Thanks for using it as such.

Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2009/05/17 20:04Well I finally found it after using Internet Explorer, was using Firefox. The newest Firefox for me doesn't show any clickable link. Just the bar and how much money has been raised... No ChipIn button. Just a heads up.

Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2009/05/17 21:27And which version are you using? Cause I am using Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc top check if all works fine and all give the ChipIn module with link just fine. The only thing you do need is the Shockwave plugin.

Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2009/05/18 00:48Well I am using Firefox v3.0.10 with fresh install of Shockwave and flash and still nothing to click. All it shows is the gauge of how many donations you've recieved, but no donation button. Strange, probably something to do with my computer, maybe a Firefox and/or Winsows Vista 64-bit issue?

Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2009/05/18 11:18Sorry mate, but I am both using Windows XP and Vista and also using the latest Firefox version to try and it works just fine I can see the ChipIn button so I don't really see what the issue is. And others have just been able to donate without any issues or raising any concern so I can only go from this that this is an isolated case, and could be due to your system somehow.

Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2009/05/18 14:06Try Windows Vista 64-bit with Firefox. Internet Explorer 64-bit won't work because Shockwave doesn't work with it. What I was saying is that maybe Firefox has Shockwave issues with Vista 64-bit. Anyways, Explorer 32-bit works fine, so no problems.

Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2009/05/18 16:55As far as I recall I have used Windows Vista 64-bit and it worked, so on that point I am not going to waste anymore time and this really. Though thanks for letting us know, but nothing we can do about as on our system it was working before just fine and this is the only issue reported so far.

Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2009/05/19 02:55Yup, no problem. My two cents is that it's some Firefox 64-bit issue since I'm running a clean install of Windows 7 with newest Firefox as well and same issue. Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks for taking time to make this application. It is very appreciated. Now some other stuff, BFG or should I say NVIDIA in all of their wisdom decided that not allowing the fan on my GeForce GTX 275 to spin faster then 40% duty until the temps reached about 85-90°C made good sense.
In fact it made so much sense that the NVIDIA drivers would freeze up and stop responding, making the card basically useless for my uses not to mention the insane heat issues inside the case. With NiBiTor I setup all the fan speeds to scale nicely after 60°C and now it never goes above 75°C at full load and the fan is still relatively quiet at this temp too. So again, I appreciate the effort, it's the little things that make a computer either what it could and should be.

Re:Looking for newest NiBiTor version, where can we donate now? - 2011/12/11 19:35Hi, I have seen that if you ChipIn you gain access to the latest release of NiBiTor. Is there a page showing what's new in that version compared to the publicly released v6.03 version? Also how much do you have to ChipIn to gain access to it. Thanks.
