Anyone have the Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 OC BIOS version? - 2009/05/08 13:16 Hi, I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 standard graphics card version and want to flash it to the OC version. Does anybody know where I could find that BIOS? Or can someone who owns this card backup the BIOS and attach it on this thread? Thanks in advance.

Re:Anyone have the Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 OC BIOS version? - 2009/05/08 13:21 Thanks for asking, and we don't have it yet but hopefully someone will see and backup the original BIOS from their cards and attach it on this thread. But can you also share your BIOS of the standard version? Thank you!

Re:Anyone have the Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 OC BIOS version? - 2009/05/08 13:24 You backup the BIOS from your card via the usual tools and you just zip it up and attach it on this thread. That should just work fine. And that way others can use that as well and see that sharing is what makes everyone happy.

Re:Anyone have the Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 OC BIOS version? - 2009/05/08 13:26 Are there any other good Radeon HD 4890 OC BIOS's that would work on my graphics card? Cause some other brands also released pre-overclocked versions of this video card.

Re:Anyone have the Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 OC BIOS version? - 2009/05/08 19:11 Certainly there will be other BIOS versions of other Radeon HD 4890's that will just work on your Sapphire card but it is always better to go for the same vendor to have some more confidence it will really work. So have some patience and wait till someone shares the requested BIOS.

Thanks for this much appreciated. Cryio you are a legend! I bought my Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 from Pixmania on super special for £169 including delivery. Your OC BIOS works perfect, the OC card costs over £200 so am well pleased, the card specs are as the OC version and temps seem better now as well.

Thanks for the feedback mate, and glad to see it worked but that was to be expected as these cards are actually completely the same just the BIOS being different. And well the OC version has a full warranty for those higher clocks, but the normal version not. But these are so good that they can just take the extra clocks.
