How to erase EEPROM on 4870X2 - 2009/05/01 03:03
I need the command to erase the EEPROM on a 4870X2....
I have received a possible bad 4870X2, or maybe my R2E just isn't compatible with this card.
On each cold boot I get the 1 long and 3 short VGA beep code where the VGA BIOS will not initialize. This was with the original HIS BIOS.
I have since flashed both GPUs with an ASUS TOP BIOS mstr/slv and I still get the VGA beep code on cold boots....
The last time I experienced this was with a bad BIOS on a GTX 280; erasing the EEPROM and reflashing with an original BIOS fixed it....
I want to completely erase the EEPROM and reflash...
I cannot find the Atiflash 3.6 EEPROM erase command via the search function.
