Sapphire Radeon HD 4830 and have BIOS modification issue? - 2009/05/01 01:35
Any help will be much appreciated. I just got my Sapphire Radeon HD 4830 yesterday. I have BIOS modified and flashed several video cards before but never with WinFlash and only one ATI several years ago. I modified my BIOS after backing it up of course, and flashed using WinFlash. After rebooting my card wasn't recognized by Windows XP. Okay, reflash back to backup and all is well again. Thought I figured out my mistake tried again, still no go.
Okay, will use my handy dandy backup to change back to normal. After reflashing again card still was not recognized? Checked backup BIOS file and somehow it got changed to the same config as my modified file. Can anyone provide me with a good stock BIOS for the Sapphire Radeon HD 4830 having 512MB of GDDR3 memory and comes with HDMI connection? It also has a standard analog connector. Thanks in advance!
