Flashing via USB drive media, can this be done and if yes how? - 2009/04/19 08:15 I am just wondering how or if it is possible to flash the BIOS via an USB drive media? And if so how can that be done, and what to take into account as such? Thanks.

Of course that is what we now always do as that is fast and easy and much better than using a floppy really. What you need to have is an USB flash drive and you should format it as a DOS bootable media. Yes, a bootable DOS media to be able to flash out of DOS which is the safest way of flashing any hardware being it a mainboard or a graphics card. There are enough tools on the internet available to format your USB drive as such, so just Google and you will find it.
