NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v5.0 software and give feedback? - 2009/04/06 19:28 As promised we would make a new version of NiBiTor available which we hope will lead to some extra donations. We did get your feedback and some extra BIOS's submitted and with the help of xtremetheme we have a new update to add some extra support. This is a new release which adds extra support for several mobile graphics cards in a better way, as well as voltage tweak method for some of the GeForce GTX 200 series. And for any features or things you would like to see, let us know and we will see what is possible and/or feasible.

NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v5.0 Software

For those who are having these GeForce GTS 250 or GeForce GTX 275 graphics card and for the needful support for these, well either you wait till we got the appreciation that this tool deserves or you just donate using the ChipIn module and you will get exclusively the newest version supporting these cards. And please provide your feedback, that way we will be able to support you even better! Also provide your original BIOS as that help a lot to get better support in the next versions!

Also if you come across some kind of new feature, we are always keen to learn if we could offer it through NiBiTor.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v5.0 software and give feedback? - 2009/04/07 08:02 Well, I don't know but NiBiTor v5.0 can't read my EVGA e-GeForce GTS 250 BIOS. It says unknown, is this normal as I thought it was supported with this version?

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v5.0 software and give feedback? - 2009/04/07 15:40 Euh mate, we didn't say NiBiTor v5.0 supports the GeForce GTS 250's, cause that is something that came in late and we only added that support for the next version which if you read the first post on this topic you can get exclusively by donating to the development of this program via the ChipIn module.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v5.0 software and give feedback? - 2009/04/07 16:07 Sorry, I was going by the post on techPowerUp that stated it did support the GeForce GTS 250. But I guess that is wrong and is only with the next version.

That is correct, that is indeed wrong and you can enjoy the support of the GeForce GTS 250 by just a small donation cause we are investing a lot of time and effort in the development but see very little return from the wide community using it. So a small donation via the ChipIn module on our website can make a world of difference and you get exclusively the new version supporting thet newer graphics card.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v5.0 software and give feedback? - 2009/04/12 02:47 Euh, NiBiTor v5.0 can't open my GeForce GTX 275 BIOS, so you got some work there to be done but I guess you know that already or you have it done already...

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v5.0 software and give feedback? - 2009/04/12 11:31 Is nobody reading the news about the NiBiTor v5.0 release cause it doesn't say it supports the GeForce GTX 275 and that it is supported in the next version which is available exclusively to who is using the ChipIn module an donating for the good cause of keeping the development of NiBiTor going. So really the GeForce GTX 275 is supported in the next version which is not yet publicly available as the appreciation towards our efforts has just been too low...

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v5.0 software and give feedback? - 2009/04/12 20:14 This version doesn't support the 1GB version of the GeForce 9800M GTS? I dont understand, in the information there is the GeForce 9800M GTS, it is the 512MB which is supported and not the 1GB version? Thanks...

Well mate, the GeForce 9800M GTS and meaning the 1GB version is supported but it seemls you have a different version, and if you would have followed over the months and years a bit the mobile graphics world you would know that NVIDIA is actually making more than one BIOS as you have different modules that are released over time.

If you provide us your original BIOS backup of your 1GB version of your GeForce 9800M GTS then we can see to add the support in the next version. Without that there is nothing we can do as every BIOS that is a bit different requires us to adapt the program to recognize the device ID and the structure of the BIOS and parameters.
