Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.8 software and got feedback? - 2009/02/28 17:59 fs64 wrote:
I'm using NiBiTor under Windows Vista 64-bit. This program helps me to get my PC quiet and cool. It's a waste of time and money to install and buy silent fans, coolers and power supplies until the grapgics card sounds like an hairdryer.
Thanks for the feedback, and Windows Vista 64-but is because you need an actual certificate to get your program to be included in the driver signing and that costs money which is around $1000 a year when you go a good certificate company. And well we can't afford that as we don't make such profit really, but we found maybe a solution although it won't be free neither...

Okay, in this case it makes more sense to use the known tools for getting the BIOS out of the card. I think many people are waiting on an easy way to understand and manipulate the different cards core voltage logic, maybe for overvolting or in may case undervolting. I would be very happy to see this feature in the near future. Thanks a lot for your work!

Euh mate, I don't get really what you mean on this one but you must understand the tool already support all that when it is possible, and not with all cards it is, though with others a lot is feasible and it all depends on the voltage logic applied on the card itself. And understanding, I am sorry but you can't make that easier until NVIDIA makes it easier but if they do that they might just kill the tweaking that is currently still possible.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.8 software and got feedback? - 2009/03/04 11:28 Hi guys, I would like to say that NiBiTor is a really nice BIOS modifier. But since I have a GeForce GTX 295, NiBiTor v4.8 is helpless. So I'm really looking for the new version to overclock my card. I have donated twice to ChipIn, so is it possible to get the latest NiBiTor somehow?

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.8 software and got feedback? - 2009/03/04 11:52 Thanks for the feedback and actually I sent you the NiBiTor v4.9 after the ChipIn was fully completed, so can you confirm you didn't receive it as it was sent to the email address that did the PayPal donation. If you didn't receive the email I can resent it this evening.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.8 software and got feedback? - 2009/03/04 12:07 Oops, sorry! I will check it in the evening, I just can't check my mailbox now. Uhm, sorry but I didn't get it on my e-mail. All I've got is just ChipIn reply confirming successful PayPal transaction. Could you please resend it to my 2nd e-mail? Thanks!

I used the ChipIn and have an EVGA e-GeForce GTX 295 Plus card. I would like to share the BIOS's with you all. You may already have it? Anyway if you could send me an e-mail I will get that to you as soon as possible.

Re:NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.8 software and got feedback? - 2009/03/07 00:30 Here are the BIOS files, using NiBiTor v4.9 on a Windows XP 32-bit system. Both BIOS's are attached, one of each respective PCB which is indicated by the board number. The stock clocks 594/2052MHz with the shaders at 1296MHz.
