Are you using NiBiTor, than why don't you join and contribute?! - 2008/12/20 00:04 Yeah guys I thought someone should wake you all up who are using NiBiTor of have been using it cause it has been used a lot and still being used a lot but when it comes to actually showing how much you like it only a very few do. No offense but why don't all those that use NiBiTor just use the ChipIn module and do a quick donation of $1 or more? And you all know this tool is worth a lot more, so do your part now!

Hehe, glad to see at least one person who does share feedback in the past which we tool into account and does actually support the development. Frankly speaking we are disappointed by the very low response and we don't know what we will be doing next. From our view it is very simple, many use NiBiTor and ask for more but when they never think about what effort and time it takes to first develop it, and to keep it up to date. And when they just would need to dig into their pockets they just can't.

If we would count all the hours we have spend on the analysis, coding and testing of NiBiTor over the past 4-5 years and would actually put a standard value per hour and adding up how many are using it, meaning putting a small license fee next to it we would somehow be rich. So you are right but I doubt it will make any difference cause we put up this idea and you see only very minor involvement, though I must say that a few did show to like NiBiTor and did dig a bit deeper in their pockets.

Re:Are you using NiBiTor, than why don't you join and contribute?! - 2008/12/20 19:39 I have been watching and you readers and especially the users ought to be ashamed of yourselves in my opinion. From the numbers that frequent visit and download, only half a dozen people actually show support. Bah, Bulox! I do hope we don't loose out cause of you loosers. Sorry Mavke, frustrating it must be for you for sure...

Hehe, well yeah, I would have thought at least 10-20% of the users of NiBiTor would just have done their part in a small donation which can be as low as $1 and if that would have been the case the new version would have been released already. And by all means if this doesn't do it we might just think of fully protecting NiBiTor with a serial etc and only offer it for a fix price, meaning no longer as a free tool which we wouldn't like to do...

Re:Are you using NiBiTor, than why don't you join and contribute?! - 2008/12/23 13:40 As many might have seen, and I am quite certain as the news post has over 1100 views related to the ChipIn project for the NiBiTor and the upcoming releases. Since we have started the contribution ratio has been almost none. So many views and only 7 persons who actually did an effort? You must be kidding? Well if it has changed by end of day tomorrow, we will just move the date further towards the end of the year. And yes those that have donated will get the newest NiBiTor as a Christmas gift, and all others will have to wait until later.

Re:Are you using NiBiTor, than why don't you join and contribute?! - 2008/12/24 12:29 One thing is for sure, though I haven't used NiBiTor a whole lot recently, one thing is for sure I know I will be using it in the near future. So lets not let something good go down the drain as it might not be there when you need it most. Like said before, even just $1 goes a long way. You get 100 people who donate so much as a dollar, that's 100 bucks, lets show our appreciation for the guys who are providing and have been providing us this awesome tool for so long now. You know they truly will appreciate it!

Thanks mate, great to see some other guys are in for supporting the ChipIn project and we do really appreciate the support of those who have already participated. We do know a lot of persons are using it, so we would have loved to see all of them just donating in $1 each but I guess that was just a dream. Those that have done their part, the Christmas version of NiBiTor is on its way to those exclusively. And all others should now know what they have to do, at least that is what we hope...

Re:Are you using NiBiTor, than why don't you join and contribute?! - 2008/12/24 19:49 Well Christmas is a bit early as it has just started today, those that has contributed should get an email with NiBiTor v4.7 with all the enhancements included as also a preview of NiBiTor v4.8 which is also ready. Those who has shown their support will be getting NiBiTor v4.8 as a present at the end of the year. In total both versions do add support for around 18 different cards being desktop of mobile models. All those that contribute as of now will get the NiBiTor v4.7 when I am around via a personal email and will also the upcoming version as listed above.

Thanks mate, and this new version is great with the added support. Though since we now know what is coming with the new one that will be even better. Although a pitty about the response to contribute, I am glad I did and enjoy as such this exclusively the new NiBiTor version. Thank you and have a great Christmas!

Re:Are you using NiBiTor, than why don't you join and contribute?! - 2008/12/26 16:36 I would also contribute but I don't have a credit card, so no PayPal account. In the past I lost al lot of money and from that events I don't had a credit card. I don't live in the US so credit card isn't as necessary. If you could open a postal box or give me a postal address I could send you money trough a simple mail letter. Usually for a little sum of money, from 1 to 20 or a bit more dollars it's very strange that someone will rob them. Thanks in advance for your effort.
