Why it took me longer to post the correct BIOS was NiBiTor didn't work with Windows Vista 64-bit, so I had to throw a Windows XP hard drive in to get it.

Thank mate, for sharing and taking the extra time and effort to get the BIOS. Of course you could have tried with a bootable DOS media and nvFlash to make the backup as well, which then didn't require a Windows XP hard drive. But just as a tip, you never know for next time.

It's the same as already uploaded. My heart sunk when I first turned the PC on as there was corruption all over the screen! Must have been a little left over alcohol spray between the ram chips as a blast with the hairdryer sorted it out, so far its been looping tests to give it a work out. Not tried overclocking it yet as the gain is so minimal from the default 680MHz core. Trust me to go spill fluidXP on the new card and in my rush forget to ensure its all dried out before posting, hopefully a lucky escape...

Oh, but you did via NiBiTor, that is good enough mate, thanks. I will grab it from there.

Re:GeForce GTX 280 H²OC, and how getting a BIOS copy from it? - 2008/08/30 00:45 My 3rd card arrived today as the 2nd one was no good, lines all over the place and some blue screens once it acted up. Ended up having to heat the card with a hairdryer to get the PC to boot so I could email support. This one is brand new in a sealed box instead of someones old card in a brown box so I uploaded the BIOS again just in case you spot any changes.
